Shruti Haasan, a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, is known for her unique gothic aesthetic, setting her apart from her peers.

In a recent conversation between Shruti and her father, Kamal Haasan, the actor asked her about her affinity for the gothic style. Shruti attributed her unconventional style to her upbringing, crediting her father for introducing her to rock music, tattoos, and the concept of breaking gender norms from a young age.

Kamal Haasan recalled how he defied conventional parenting methods, opting for activities like long walks to instill resilience in his daughter. This approach puzzled many, but it contributed to Shruti’s perspective on looking beyond appearances and understanding the deeper meaning behind things.

Attributing her fascination with gothic aesthetics to her father’s teachings, Shruti humorously blamed him for her preference for black attire. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is gearing up for his role in the highly anticipated sci-fi movie “Kalki 2898 AD,” alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies.

Shruti, on the other hand, is set to star alongside Prabhas in “Salaar 2” and is rumored to join the cast of “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups” alongside Yash. However, the casting for the latter remains unconfirmed, with producers urging fans to refrain from speculating until an official announcement is made.
